Naoris Protocol’s quantum-resistant blockchain mainnet network integrates post-quantum cryptography designed to withstand future quantum computing capabilities.

The system has already processed more than 106 million transactions, mitigated over 603 million security threats, indicating extensive stress testing before launch.

According to the company, the mainnet rollout includes an invite-only validator structure. This approach builds an initial trust layer while maintaining controlled network expansion in early stages.

A statement from the protocol’s leadership confirmed that the system operates at scale. The network has demonstrated consistent transaction validation using post-quantum algorithms in real conditions.

The native NAORIS token supports network operations for securing transactions, enforcing protocol rules, and maintaining decentralized trust.

Q-Day concerns intensify across legacy blockchains

The launch comes amid increasing discussion around “Q-Day,” a scenario where quantum computers break current cryptographic systems. Recent findings suggest that a quantum machine could compromise Bitcoin’s encryption with fewer than 500,000 qubits.

At the same time, separate reports identified that these risks could expose a large portion of assets secured on the network.

Because blockchain transactions are permanent, any vulnerability today may remain exploitable in the future. This creates long-term security considerations for existing chains.

The growing urgency has triggered participants to increasingly assess the resilience of current cryptography.

Built-in transition to post-quantum security

Naoris Protocol incorporates what it describes as an irreversible security transition mechanism. This system ensures that once users adopt quantum-resistant keys, they cannot revert to older cryptographic methods.

This design prevents the use of vulnerable signature schemes within the network. Transactions relying on outdated cryptography are automatically rejected by the protocol.

The architecture aims to protect assets even if traditional encryption methods become compromised. This adds a forward-looking layer of defense at the protocol level.

The current implementation operates on its own mainnet, designed for broader integration, which will extend to wallets, exchanges, and Layer 2 ecosystems.

The testnet phase also demonstrated global participation. Over one million security nodes were activated, alongside more than 3.3 million wallet creations.

The NAORIS token remains central to network coordination for supporting governance mechanisms across the ecosystem.

As quantum computing research progresses, the focus on resilient cryptographic systems enters the market at a time when such capabilities are becoming relevant.
